ChRiStMaS pArAdE - 2011

this morning was the 2011 Christmas ("holiday") parade... we went with Stacy and Liam... Johnson Controls sponsors the parade and has a tent with all Starbucks inside... coffee, hot cocoa, cookies, juice, cake pops... YUM!!! they also set up bleachers for their employees (Stacy)and families to watch the parade from... it was GREAT fun!!!

PuMpKiN fArM fIeLd TrIp!!!

Ethan's 1st field trip was to the Elegant Farmer in East Troy... Despite the cold and rainy weather, we had a lot of fun!!! A hay ride through the apple orchard to the pumpkin patch... a walk up a muddy hill to the biggest and best pumpkins... a fall in the mud for Caleb... and lunch in a greenhouse sums up our morning!!! Ethan's favorite part of the trip was the ride on the school bus!!!

a few weeks ago we went up north with the Weed family... we had a wonderful time... the weather was overall good, except for 1 morning of a little rain... we love going up there... there is just something so relaxing about being at the cabin... the kids of course had a blast... they are all pretty obsessed with riding the ATVs... Ethan and Caleb both fell asleep while riding!!! SO funny!!! the kids also enjoyed spending a lot of time in their "fort" in the woods... looking forward to our next trip to the cabin!!!
